My Christmas Wish List

Pasko na naman.. kabi kabila ang gift giving. Manito manita, Kris Kringgle, Raffle, Company Give aways at marami pang iba.

Sa mga regalong natatanggap, hindi nawawala ang mga sumusunod:

1. Mug - iba'ibang klaseng mug, may malaki, maliit, may takip, musical at chartoon characters.
2. Towel - beach towel, hand towel, face towel.
3. Candle - scented, korteng taong kandila, tea candle.
4. Table figurines - angel, fairy, santo't santa.
5. Picture frame - iba ibang hugis, may bilog at may kasamang alarm clock.


Kahit paulit ulit mong natatanggap. Iba pa rin ang feeling ng nakakakuha ka ng regalo. Ang sarap ng feeling. Lalo na kung ikaw rin ay nakakapagbigay at nakikita mo ang ngiti sa binibigyan mo habang binubuksan nila ang regalo.

At para hindi OT sa topic, Ngayong pasko heto ang mga gusto ko sanang matanggap .. hmm sana may makabasa heheheh!!!

1. Organizer - yun kikay na organizer, pink o kaya blue. Kahit kasi meron ng organizer sa CP iba pa rin yun sinusulat.
2. Cologne - nahihirapan kasi ako pumili ng sarili kong pabango. Mas gusto ko ang binibigay eheheheh.
3. Belt - para in sa fashion
4. Coin purse - para pampabwenas.
5. Sunglasses - pareho ng cologne, hindi ako makapili ng babagay sa akin.

Wedding Nightmare

Nung sabado abala ako sa pag aayos nung regalo ko para sa kasal ng kaklase ko kinabukasan at sa sobrang pagod at excitement, nagkaroon ako ng isang napakaweird na panaginip...

Nasa simbahan daw ako kasama ng family at mga relatives. Araw na daw ng kasal ko. Nagtataka ako bakit parang napakadali naman, ni hindi ko nga naalalang nagasikaso man lang ako tungkol dito. Madami na daw invited, andon yun mga officemates ko, mga kaklase nung high school at college. Tapos nagtanong ako sa mama ko, asan yun mga abay? Sagot nya, wala eh kaya hihila na lang tayo sa mga bisita. Ha??? Walang abay, ano ba namang kasal ito, on the spot ang pagkuha ng abay. Tapos bigla ko napansin na meron ako suot na pangkikay na kwintas, so sabi ko sa mama ko, ma hindi naman bagay itong kwintas ko sa damit... sabay pagyuko ko, tska ko narealize na nakapambahay lang ako na katerno nung kikay na kwintas... waaaaaaaa, ano na nangyayari bakit ganito, indi man lang ako naka bridal gown.

Hinanap ko yun groom ko, wala... lumapit sa akin yun auntie ko, itext ko daw si Jess kasi baka nakalimutan na ngayon na pala yun kasal.... WAKEKE! Meron ba naman groom na makakalimutan ang araw ng kasal nya waaaaaaaa!

Bigla ako nagising... panaginip lang pala... hay naku sa sobrang pagkaweird nung panaginip naalala ko talaga yun yun every detail. Ay ewan... sana lang in case na dumating ang panahong iyon, indi naman ganon kapangit...

Basurs

Miyerkules, hindi dumaan ang trak ng basura sa amin... Akala ko noong araw lang na yun.. so okay lang kasi konti lang naman ang basura namin... Hala!!! Ang miyerkules, nasundan pa ng huwebes, byernes hanggang linggo! Anak ng....! kelang pa darating si Mr. Garbageman??? Kanina ko lang nalaman sa mama ko ang dahilan...

Basura ng Makati itatambak sa MMDA

NAGBANTA kahapon si Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay na itataambak nila ang basura ng lungsod sa harapan mismo ng tanggapan ng Metropolitan Ma-nila Development Authority (MMDA) sa oras na hindi maresolba ng ahensiya ang krisis sa basura.

Sinabi ni Binay na sa kasalukuyan ay may napagtatapunan pa naman sila ng kanilang basura sa kabila ng pagsasara ng Rodriguez Landfill subalit kapag dumating aniya ang panahon na wala na silang mapagta-punan, sa harap mismo ng MMDA sa Orenze St. nila itatambak ang kanilang ba-sura.

“Pag wala na talagang tatanggap sa basura namin, ipapatapon ko na lang sa harap mismo ng MMDA. Wala na kaming mapag-tatapunan eh,” pahayag ni Binay.

Idinugtong pa ng alkalde na nakipag-ugnayan na sila kay Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim para maidaan muna sa Pier 18 na ginagamit bilang transfer station ng Maynila ang kanilang basura upang maisakay ito sa barge o gebara patungo sa dumpsite ng Navotas.

Pansamantala ring itinatapon ng Makati City ang ka-nilang basura sa San Pedro,
Laguna subalit hindi rin aniya magtatagal ay baka hindi na sila payagang magtapon dito.

Tiniyak ng alkalde na hindi nila pababayaan na uma-lingasaw at magkalat na lamang basta sa iba’t-ibang lugar ng Makati ang basura dahil dito aniya magsisimu-lang dumami ang mga daga, ipis at iba pang mikrobyo na may masamang epekto sa kalusugan.

Nauna ng sinisi ni Binay si MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando sa kawalan ng aksiyon na makahanap ng permanenteng dumpsite o tapunan ng basura at inuuna pa aniya ang paghabol sa mga vendors at paggiba sa mga tindahan, police stations at barangay hall.

Napag-alaman na umaabot sa 2,500 metro kubikong basura ang araw-araw na kinokolekta ng 120 garbage trucks na gumagala sa buong lungsod na kanilang itinata-pon sa Rodriquez dumpsite na ngayon ay isinara ng alklade ng naturang muni-sipyo.

Sinabi ni Binay na sa laki ng kanilang ibinibigay na kontribusyon sa MMDA, pati na ang iba pang local government units, dapat ay inuuna ni Fernando na humanap ng solusyon sa problema sa halip na hintaying humupa ang bangayan ng alkalde at gobernador ng Rodriguez, Rizal.

Waaaaahh please, sana naman maayos na ang problemang ito... ayaw ko pa na dumating ang oras na maging housemates ko pa si Mr. Rat at Ms. Ipis!!!!

Photophobic, Camera-shy Model

"When I grow up, I want to be a model"...

Isa sa mga kahibangan ko nung bata pa ako... palibhasa, yun tiyahin ko, libangan nya ang bihisan ako at pagposin ng kung anu ano sa harap ng camera. Kahit pa "lorna tolentino, alma moreno, maricel soriano o vilma santos look pa yan eh nagagaya ko...

Habang lumalaki ako... ay mali.... habang nagkakaedad ako, mahilig pa rin ako magpakuha sa mga studio pero nakalimutan ko na ata ang pagpose ng tama sa harap ng camera, masyado akong naging conscious.. hindi tuloy nagiging maganda ang resulta. Mula noon ay binawas bawasan ko na ang pagpapakuha ng litrato, nagkaroon ako ng inggit sa mga nakikita ko sa friendster, multiply, myspace, pati na rin sa mga artista... Bakit sila ang gaganda ng kuha nila, bat ako indi ko makuha ang tamang anggulo... hay.. nakakaiyak.. paano na ang pangarap ko ..kelangan ko na talagang kalimutan..... (hay! banaman!)

Conquer Your Photophobia: Look Better in a Snap!

How do they do it? How do models manage to look so great in
magazines and even in candid shots? If you hate how you look in
pictures, don't be too hard on yourself. Models need hours of
photogenic makeup, years of training, and hundreds of photos to look
picture-perfect. They've mastered their best angles and have learned
how to minimize their facial and body "defects". With our tips and
lots of practice, you'll get the hang of looking your best, whether
you're having a professional portrait taken or are just hamming it
up for travel snapshots.

Makeup Magic
Everybody looks better with some makeup. Even the most flawless
complexion can look sallow or shiny (especially the forehead and
nose) without some form of corrective coverage.

Daylight photos. Keep makeup natural so it doesn't look like a mask.
Natural light can be unforgiving, showing the littlest flaws. Use
concealer (in your skin shade) to even out redness and spots. And
off with that mustache—believe us, it will show!

Flash photography washes out your skin. It is kinder to your flaws
but intensifies the pink and white tones in your face. Familiar with
that too-white-under-the-eyes look on celebrities in paparazzi
shots? The culprit: too-light translucent powder that looks mask-
like. It does reflect light off your eyebags, making them disappear,
but it's still best to stick to warm, yellow-based powder. Don't
forget the underside of your chin and neck to avoid "The Great
Divide". Define your brows, eyes, and lips so you don't look
invisible.

Studio shots. You'll need a bit more coverage, but keep your makeup
neat, clean and precise. Contour your face where it's needed—cheeks,
forehead, nose. Top models and makeup artists know that contouring
creates illusions—round cheeks can look thinner, a broad forehead
shorter, or a flat nose higher. But go easy and blend! Nothing looks
scarier than severe, unblended railroad track nose shading or racing
stripe blusher!

All the Right Moves
No need for contortionist posing—just relax. Try to feel comfortable
with the photographer. Any form of tension will show—facial muscles
tighten when you're nervous and your body will look rigid and stiff.
Notice how you look great in your photo album snapshots? With family
and friends, you're at your most natural. Don't be too self-
conscious. Be comfortable with your body—know your flaws and accept
them, but don't be afraid of them. Says Raymund, "Do something about
them. Otherwise, be happy with what you have. Sometimes a flaw can
be your asset. The most beautiful people I have photographed are
those who are not afraid of themselves. Love yourself!"

Tricks and Techniques

• Practice in front of the mirror to determine your best angle. Most
people look better facing the camera at a 45° angle. Create the
illusion of an hourglass figure by using the old swimsuit calendar
(and beauty contest) trick: face your hip to the camera, stomach in,
chest out and twist shoulders forward.

• Pull up! Slouching gives you a weak, unattractive look. A straight
body gives you instant confidence.

• A real smile comes from the eyes, not from the mouth. Think happy
thoughts. Instead of saying "Cheese!", saying a soft "A!" will give
you a perfect smile, minimizing crow's feet, eyebags, too-squinty-
eyes and crooked, gummy or toothy smiles. Practice!

• Feeling tense? Can't stop blinking or looking "gulat"? Close your
eyes, move your head around, take a deep breath, and count to three.
On the third count, have the photographer click the shutter. Your
eyes will look softer.

• Don't wear a white bra under a black shirt—the camera's flash will
make you flash! Also beware of bra straps peeping out of sleeveless
tops or panty lines.

• Never point limbs to the camera—they'll shorten your body.

To camouflage…

Round cheeks. Practice biting the insides of your cheeks with your
molars to create a more angular jaw, then slightly push the chin
forward.

Eyebags. Lift the chin slightly to minimize casting shadows.

A flat nose. Contour subtly (blend!), turn your face at a 45° angle,
tilt chin slightly, and look at the camera.

A double chin. Chin up, push it forward. Lengthen your neck.

A big stomach. Black can make you look slimmer, but tight black
clothes will accentuate that bilbil. Be sure your clothes fit will.
Or try angling a bit sideways or use your arms to cover them.

Big nostrils. Make sure the camera isn't positioned to low.

Big legs, broad shoulders, and big hips. Find a comfortable stance
while placing one foot in front of the other at a 45° angle.

Big arms. Don't press your arms too close to your body or point them
to the camera—that'll enlarge them.
